Thank you for your comment. It was beautiful and I was thrilled to be able to capture it without evidence of a flash on the glass.

Actually I was wondering how did you do it cause I tried several times with and without flash and I couldn't get a decent photo. Nice work! :clap:

I have to admit that after thinking about it, I cannot actually remember which of two methods I used. I've tried this hundreds of time in dark aquariums with very little success. I think I must have used the 45 degree angle approach with flash. However when I look at the shutter speed it seems like a flash would have synchronized at higher than 1/50. (A memory from my analog photography days). I have also tried to hold the camera steady to do this. The inside of the tanks are so well lit that it actually works -- about one out of 10 times. :)

I really love this sea horse too I believe it's called the leafy sea dragon, there are few animals I have seen that I really consider looking like a dragon.
I've never seen one other then in pictures it must of been a very majestic pleasure.
